In this article, I am going to tell you about the tech myths that you may be heard before. Some of these things you always follow but actually they are not true. So, today I will try to clear some of the tech myths.

  • Incognito Mode - Many people think that if they are using if they using incognito mode it will hide you and nobody can track you. But it is totally false. Actually, if you are using incognito window or private browsing pages that you view in incognito tabs won’t save in your browser’s history, cookie store or search history after you’ve closed all of your incognito tabs. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be kept. So, don't think that you are hidden and can not be tracked if you are using incognito mode.

  • Always Press F5 - This is the most common thing that every Windows OS user does. Every time we open a new window first thing we always do is Right Click->Refresh. And we think it is making our computer faster and better but it's not true. Actually, it just rebuilds the icons appearing on the screen. It just whether if any missing or not. It just works if there is any missing icon or anything. Else it does not perform anything else.

  • More Pixels = Better Camera - Many people think that more the number of pixels means better camera quality. But it's not true. There are many things that decide the quality of the camera. There is Lens, Sensors, Aperture and Image Processing software. These all things should be good for a better camera quality. So, don't think more pixels means better camera quality. A 5MP camera can be better than an 8MP camera.

  • No virus in Macs - It is not at all true that Apple's Macs never affected by any virus. They also affected by the virus. But the number of attacks is lesser as compared to Windows OS PC's. Otherwise, Mac's also affected by the virus and you need a good antivirus their also. Attacks are not as frequently and commonly as on Windows OS.

  • Cell Phone Causes Cancer - This is also a big myth that using cell phone causes cancer. It is also not true. There is no study that proves cell phone causes cancer. Cell phones are there for many years and nobody ever causes cancer due to the cell phone. We personally using cell phones for many years and nobody around us or we every affected by cell phones.



So, here some of the tech myths that you shouldn't follow. These few myths but there are many more myths around so be careful and aware. And I'll try to bust more myths soon.
